Lisa has been teaching around the globe since 2003. She has instructed all ages from Kindergarten to adults in math, social studies, and foreign language in English, Spanish, and French. Lisa loves traveling and learning about new cultures. She has traveled to over 34 different countries and spent seven years teaching in China, Yemen, Columbia, and Belarus. Lisa is an avid environmentalist, fervent organic gardener, and experiential education enthusiast. She worked as a mountaineering guide for 28-day expeditions for Outward Bound and has led numerous experiential and service-learning trips to parts of the US, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. With her husband and two children, Lisa has been living and teaching on San Juan Island since 2014, gardening and mountain biking in her free time.
