Spring Street International School is located on San Juan Island in the quaint town of Friday Harbor. It is just a five minute walk from the ferry terminal.
From Seattle, Washington, there are a few ways to travel to the island:
- By car: Take I-5 Northbound from Seattle to the Burlington exit (exit 230), travel west on Highway 20 to Anacortes and follow the signs to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal.
- By shuttle: The Bellair Shuttle picks travelers up at the Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEATAC) and drives them to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal. From there, passengers can walk on the ferry.
- By boat: The islands are served by the Washington State Ferry system departing from Anacortes. Reservations for drive-on passengers are recommended.
- By plane: Kenmore Air takes passengers from King County International Airport (Boeing Field), six miles north of SEATAC, to Friday Harbor Airport in 40 minutes. Shuttles are available to and from SEATAC.
