The Visual Arts program is dedicated to cultivating visually literate learners through the study of past and present artists’ works, diverse artistic periods and styles, and the elements of art and principles of design. The program takes an experiential approach, with skill-based projects that provide students with a progression of creative challenges in a variety of media. Students are encouraged to take risks in new mediums and also to develop technical mastery through practice and determination.
