Welcome to Spring Street International School! We are a multicultural, independent, day and boarding school that provides students in grades 6-12 with a stimulating learning environment in a safe, beautiful setting in the San Juan Islands.
Since 1995, Spring Street teachers work to build relationships that prepare each student to meet the requirements of a rigorous curriculum, fostering the complex reasoning crucial to thriving in both college and life.
Each fall and spring, the classroom expands to the trails of the north cascades, to the streets of New York City, to the mountains of the Himalayas, and to the Mayan village on Lake Atitlan, and beyond. Providing a global perspective through internships, museums, language immersion, trekking, homestays, and service projects, our expeditionary learning program challenges students to put theory into practice.
