The Jayaram family moved to the islands in 2016 specifically to enroll Faith at Spring Street. As Dureen and Kim had hoped, the school and community turned out to be the perfect environment to nurture Faith’s deep interest in marine life. Her six years of middle and high school here instilled great values, deepened her interests in the arts, sciences, and the world at large, and prepared her for college. Dureen is now helping the school board extend the Spring Street legacy for future families. Dureen grew up in Bengaluru, India, and first came to the U.S. as a graduate student. His personal experience drives his belief in developing international student opportunities. He has been working in corporate consulting and managerial roles for almost 30 years, has overseen global teams, and supported multinational operations. His current focus is on learning more about Sustainability related issues, and launching programs that address them.
