High School
In order to graduate from Spring Street International School, students must earn the required number of high school credits in each area over the course of eight required semesters. In some cases, these required classes may be taken during the 8th grade year. In rare cases, a 7th grade student may take the Algebra I class for HS credit. One credit is equivalent to a year-long course.

Middle School
Middle School Students typically follow the programs outlined below:

8th grade: American Literature, United States History, Earth Science, Algebra, Spanish I, Art/Music/Theatre
ESL/International
Most International students with an IBT between 10 and 40 take three intermediate ESL classes plus three mainstreamed classes such as Algebra II, Physics, and music/art. As students progress to an IBT above 60, they are mainstreamed in 5 classes and take one Advanced ESL support class.
