I brought back lots of things from this trip: sweaty socks, a blister or two, a sticky toothbrush. But I brought back bigger things – I don’t mean things that took up more room in my bag. I mean big things, along the lines of awesome friends and awesome memories. I brought back the note from my mom. I brought back something I found inside myself out there, a feeling of faith that everything will be OK.
