Nickie Davis

A native of the Chicago area, Nickie Davis joined the Spring Street teaching staff in 2013. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2000. After graduation, she traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Japan, and Australia. This was followed by a few years working for biotech upstarts in Seattle doing tissue staining and imagery as well as working in a chemistry lab doing gas chromatography. Her area of focus – and what she really enjoys – is genetics and evolution. Nickie’s teaching certification from Western Washington University included endorsements in general science and biology. Her child Rowan graduated from Spring Street as part of the Class of 2025.
