Tests Accepted for ESL Program
International student applicants must present test results for language proficiency.
Spring Street International School (SSIS) accepts SLEP or TOEFL results.
Some other tests, such as Eiken in Japan, have TOEFL equivalent charts which we also accept.
In the absence of tests scores, SSIS will do a private phone or Skype interview to determine english proficiency. Test scores are only a touchstone of ability. We offer a full ESL program in reading, writing and speaking english as well as TOEFL and SAT preparation. Our program of study allows our international students to earn entry to the best American universities.
