San Juan Community Theatre is the cultural center of San Juan Island.  For twenty years it has significantly enriched and touched the lives of all who participate either as audience, performers or behind the scenes.  With more than 90 performances a year, SJCT provides a comfortable venue to see live theatre, concerts, dance, playwrights’ festivals, touring professionals and various school productions.

SSIS students often participate in local productions as supporters or actors, in conjunction with drama classes offered in the public schools. The nonprofit facility gives volunteers a chance to demonstrate and improve skills; from acting to directing to set designing and working in the box office, there are a multitude of ways to be involved in this island treasure.  Workshops and theatre camps are also offered throughout the year for both adults and children.

SJCT is a gathering place that provides people of any age group the opportunity for fun, life enrichment and educational growth.
