More About Admissions:
Tuition Fees
The annual tuition for San Juan County residents for the 2010-2011 academic year is $11,000. A $500 deposit, applicable to tuition, is required at the time of application. This deposit is non-refundable unless, for any reason, a program cannot be offered to your child.
In the case of students who are not accepted into Spring Street, the balance of the deposit will be refunded after deducting any fees for assessment, testing, or financial aid analysis. In the event of withdrawal, tuition obligation remains for the full balance of any semester in which your child has begun enrollment.
Spring Street International School also offers boarding for US students whose families do not live in the San Juan Islands. Students have the choice of staying in Home Families or at the school's residence. Both full- as well as weekday-boarding options are available.

Tuition Management Systems (TMS)
TMS is a service bureau contracted by Spring Street International School that processes and tracks all tuition payments made on a planned payment basis.
If you wish to pay for your tuition on a monthly, quarterly, or semester plan, you must complete a Tuition Management Services (TMS) enrollment form and return it to SSIS by the stated deadlines. Please note that TMS requires a handling fee, payable by check made out to TMS, or by filling out the credit card information on the TMS enrollment form. When completed, return it to SSIS with a check for the TMS fee and we will process it. Late fees will be charged by TMS for late payments at a rate of $30/incident.
Tuition contracts must be signed and returned within two weeks of notification of acceptance, before enrollment can be finalized. Tuition accounts must be kept current for educational services to be provided.
Spring Street International School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, national and ethnic origin or sexual preference in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
